Here is an early concept drawing for my tabletop game, Divine Intervention. The drawing depicts a Kamé, currently one of the NPC races of the game. The Kamé are a race of evolved turtles that live in the wastes of the Great Desert. Unlike the other races, the Kamé believe their gods never left them, and that they reside inside crystallized orbs that the Kamé can use to transform themselves. This Kamé is shown initiating a transformation with an active orb.
Since this is a vector drawing, I wanted to do this in a different style than I normally would, and experimented with abstracting the colours and shapes. It was a fun piece to make :)
