An early concept painting I made for my tabletop game, Divine Intervention. I was experimenting with the pointed star symbol, and how it would be found in old temples, or woven into religious tapestries or banners. Here, the symbol is part of a tapestry that hangs in a temple or fortress. The circular shapes reference stars or cosmic events, and lightly glowing braziers frame the old relic.
